Tai Aracen is a bilingual Spanish and English speaker and coach in personal development, entrepreneurship and marketing. Her company, Tai Aracen International, LLC focuses on creating entrepreneurship and personal development training specifically for Latin and Black women. Tai graduated from high school at the age of 15 and entered college soon after. After graduating from college she embarked on achieving her childhood dream by becoming a lawyer. In 2007 Tai left her career in law and devoted her time to the community and started a non-profit organization that supports economic development in disadvantaged communities.That same year, Tai begin working as a business consultant providing support to minority women by providing entrepreneurial training. Dr. Bartholomew is a graduate of Howard University (BS, Human Development), the University of Phoenix (MS, Counselling), and holds a doctorate in Education with the emphasis in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Dr Zoee Bartholomew has dedicated her professional life to affecting the lives of developmentally/mentally disabled children, adults, and their families. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Bartholomew’s careers include positions as an Adjunct Faculty, Behaviors Intervention Specialist, Resource Specialist, Severely Handicapped Teacher, and Recreational Leader throughout California. Dr. Bartholomew has completed training in a multitude of areas in Special Education including TEACCH, PECS, SCERTS, Lovaas Discrete Trial Training, and Crisis Prevention Institute. Dr. Bartholomew is a graduate of Howard University (BS, Human Development), the University of Phoenix (MS, Counselling), and holds a doctorate in Education with the emphasis in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Dr. Zoee Bartholomew is the owner of ZMB Consulting. ZMB provides consulting/training services to school districts, adult day programs, non-public schools, and other private organizations. In addition to her academic and business endeavours, Dr. Bartholomew designed a new model to integrate students with disabilities into after-school programs called the Integrated Adaptive Skills Program (IASP), which can be found in the Library of Congress. AnnaLaura Brown is a holistic health coach who specializes in helping people with allergies, (including food allergies and food sensitivities and intolerances with a focus on gluten and dairy) asthma, and digestion issues. An essential oil enthusiast, she has also used essential oils to help improve her health and the health of many others around the world. A former librarian, she launched herself into the health and wellness world after struggling for years with unresolved health issues that Western and traditional medicine was not solving. Marcia Buxton holds a Bachelor's of Science degree and a Masters of Arts degree, and is an Executive Coach, Leadership Strategist, Speaker and Managing Director of KAMAKA, Marcia helps teams and high level female entrepreneurs and executives develop their leadership skills taking their professional lives to another level. Marcia Buxton has a background in leadership, management and counselling. She is a qualified executive coach and facilitator having trained at the Human Technics Centre of Excellence for Executive Coach Training (accredited at Postgraduate Masters level by Bristol Business School). She has over 20 year's experience as a senior manager in the Third Sector and public sectors. Marcie's experience allows her to work with corporate organisations, charities, small medium sized business, with teams and individuals. Ms. Buxton is also passionate about gender equality, women rights and working with women of influence and inspiration so they become the best leaders they can be. Marcie's passion for gender equality is reflected in her role as vice-chair of the Board of trustees at One World Action. She serves on the board of Governors of a local academy for girls and was founding member of the Downing Street Project. Marcia is also a Fellow of Chartered Management Institute, an International Mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation Coaching Programmes and support for female professionals and entrepreneurs who want to advance their businesses and lives. Eileen Lichtenstein, MS. Ed. specializes in personal development coaching and training, including stress and anger reduction management, life and career coaching, effective communication and career challenges, for over 20 years. Her background includes biofeedback, adjunct at Hofstra University, certified Anger Management Specialist and EFT tapping Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioner. Based in Westbury, NY, Eileen also conducts one:one coaching and group trainings via video skype, webinars and onsite. Dr. Carol Soloway is a chiropractor and has been running a successful chiropractic business for over 30 years, before passing her practice on to her son. Today she still works in the industry, but her primary love is for her new book: Sex Happens. Carol zest for life spills over in everything she does. She has been a guest twice on Women in Business Radio where she talks about :challenges in business and maintaining longevity: how to make your biological age outweighs your chronological age. She helps to bring the story inside you representing your business out into the world that needs it. Mrs. Sharita Phillip is a Law Enforcement Officer, author, inspirational speaker, an ordained Deacon, and Founder and CEO of Dynamic Empowerment, LLC, a life coaching business designed to empower women to live the Dynamic Life God created them to live, and Proverbs 31 Women (P31W) a woman group designed to create support and encouragement for women of all ages in the Word of God. Ms. Phillip also runs a youth mentoring program, Dynamic Diamonds where she empowers young ladies between the ages of 12 -18 years to embrace their uniqueness.

Sharita is a graduate of Life Coach Institute of Orange County and a certified Human Behavior Consultant and DISC Consultant. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Ms. Phillip released her first book in June 2014 The Dynamic You Movement and has co-authored her second book A Peace Of Me: My Journey To Authenticity in February 2015, and her third book Behind her brand was released on April 16, 2015. Yvette-Michelle Cottle Darby has been a creative entrepreneur for over twenty years. She is a designer, instructor, web designer, creative business consultant and photographer. The photographs of flowers and the Editor in Chief (on the lake) in this publication is courtesy Yvette-Michelle and Crafted Spaces. 

Yvette-Michelle owns and manages two businesses. She established Verona Collections in 1994 and designs limited-edition fashion accessories. In 2011 she started Crafted Spaces which provides creative design classes in sewing, crocheting, knitting, fabric design, soap making, soft toys creation and more. She also conducts workshops and other services that helps others to explore their creativity. Yvette-Michelle is also a member of Dr. Cheryl Cottle's team. She works extensively on the various projects, including the Women in Business Mentoring Programme and the development of this journal. Her expertise in web site design and development, graphic design, social media and editing has been invaluable to us. In this volume, Yvette-Michelle is an editor and photographer, contributing to the correctness of information shared in these pages, and providing the flower images use on the cover and those which is found throughout the journal.



Dr. Donya Zimmerman is the principle owner of Powerful Biz Woman (DBA of FACMBC). She is a business consultant, aspiring author, and public speaker/trainer. Donya received her Juris Doctorate (JD) in Law from University of Baltimore Law School. Donya has a segment entitled “Powerful Biz Tip of the Week” on the Radio Show “Warrior Woman Radio” hosted by Khadija Ali that runs every Monday at 7:00 pm. 

Donya, as a practicing attorney from 2002 to 2012, has provided pro bono services to clients with the following programs: Montgomery County Pro Bono Program, Community Legal Services of Prince George’s County, and Women’s Law Center of Baltimore County; and has received various awards for her pro bono services. Donya Zimmerman is a member of MPME (Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence) since 2013. She is also a graduate and member of Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, Inc. (WEB) since 2012. As well as, a member of Community Mediation of Prince George’s County, MD since 2013. Dr. Zimmerman's law experience also include representing clients in the working the areas of; family law, elder law, juvenile law, foreclosure defense law, business/corporate law, and bankruptcy law. 

As a business consultant, Donya wants to teach individuals how to stay out of legal trouble and tax trouble concerning their businesses and nonprofit organizations. Donya is a contributing writer with the Maryland Daily Examiner Newspaper. She is also a Guest Blogger for Leadership Girl Online Magazine. Donya has made article contributions to the Simply Inspirational Women in Business Journal for 2014 published by Dr. Cheryl Cottle. She has her own blog site entitled “Business Development and Conflict Resolution” discussing business development, conflict resolution, and the daily life of being a small business owner. Dr. Zimmerman also has some books in the pipeline that she hopes to publish by early 2016.  They are: Daily Devotionals for Entrepreneurs; How to Create a Strong Inner Will Power; Entrepreneurship 101: Textbook Guide for Aspiring Entrepreneurs; and 10 Small Business Owner Tips for Newbie Entrepreneurs.
